Sunday Registration Day

Welcome Associate Campers to the Freedom Week Blog at Rocky Mountain Village (RMV). This Blog will keep you up to date on the daily activities at RMV for the week of July 26 – July 31. Associate Campers are family and friends of campers who will share in the RMV activities and fun via this Blog.

The rainy afternoon camp registration did not dampen the bright sunny smiles and cheers of delight as returning campers and counselors reunited and first time campers made new friends. Thank you Associate Campers for sharing your camper with RMV. All the counselors and staff look forward to this week as a special opportunity to provide your camper with a great fun filled and learning experience.

This week’s theme at RMV is “Celebration Nation”. Each day will have a special celebration of fun and excitement. At dinner this evening the “Magical Theme Selector” chose “Earth Day” as the celebration for Monday. Tomorrow’s activities will be based around activities and events associated with “Earth Day”. Blogs will be posted each night sharing the day’s celebration.

Tonight was introduction night. Head Counselors Courtney and Ben were the MCs for the evening leading introductions and spirited repeat songs. Each cabin introduced themselves to their fellow campers with lively and comical skits.
